Ms. Currie concentrates her practice on trademark infringement litigation, where she typically represents luxury and fashion companies in enforcing their intellectual property rights. Ms. Currie’s experience on both the plaintiff’s and defendant’s side allows her to bring a unique approach in prosecuting defendants for infringement. She is also experienced with processing and maintaining trademark applications, including successfully responding to Office Actions issued by the USPTO to obtain registrations for her clients. At Blakely Law Group, she also handles various business litigation matters dealing with complex issues.
Prior to joining Blakely Law Group, Ms. Currie practiced civil defense litigation, representing companies in personal injury, premises liability, and products liability matters worth up to $30 million. Ms. Currie graduated magna cum laude from Whitter Law School, with a specialization in Intellectual Property. While in law school, Ms. Currie gained an understanding of music publishing contracts while interning at Warner Chappell Music, and film/television industry contracts while interning at a boutique entertainment law firm.
