Our goal in every case is to achieve the best possible result in a cost-effective manner. We have found that within the context of litigation, the best results are often achieved when the opposition knows that we are prepared to try a case.

We have successfully tried numerous cases to judgment and verdict, and have participated in hundreds of arbitrations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. More often than not, this level of expertise leads to favorable settlements without the necessity of trial. We are also often on the cutting edge of intellectual property law, having prevailed in landmark appellate decisions such as Downing v. Abercrombie & Fitch, 265 F.3d 994 (9th Cir. 2001), Hilton v. Hallmark Cards, 580 F.3d 874 (9th Cir. 2009), andNetwork Automation, Inc. v. Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc., 638 F. 3d 1137 (9th Cir. 2011).
